From the wound healing product family of treetta, TEBAGRAN is a wound dressing product imbued with white sterile granules of active collagen-based bio-polymers. TEBAGRAN, having a granulated configuration, is ideal for cavity wounds and wounds with limited accessibility. Due to its absorbent formulation, TEBAGRAN granules will strongly absorb any wound discharge and exudate, turning into a gel form. It tremendously helps with the necrotic tissue debridement process and accelerates wound healing. TEBAGRAN ’s granulated structure and unique packaging provide easy application on the wound. It can facilitate the wound caring process for medical practitioners and help manage inaccessible injuries.
TEBAGRAN dressing features
Accelerating the granulation and epithelialization process Ceratinosits and Fibroblasts play a primary role in the wound-healing process. One of the means to accelerate the wound healing process is to use agents that promote cell growth and division for Ceratinosits and Fibroblasts. Modern wound dressing products use such agents to help the granulation and epithelialization process and break the vicious cycle of chronic wounds.
Collagen is used as a raw material in the formulation of TEBAGRAN and can directly stimulate growth and mitosis in fibroblast cells. It can also reduce the activity of matrix metalloproteinase enzymes in the injury site, accelerating the epithelialization process, therefore making the wound heal better and faster.
Hydrating the wound
The granules of TEBAGRAN absorb excessive exudate and discharge from the site of the wound and provide a constantly humid environment for optimal wound healing with utmost speed.
Exudate absorption
TEBAGRAN product has a granulated structure. Therefore, it has an extended absorption surface compared to its peers and absorbs the excessive discharge and exudate from the wound more efficiently.
Protect the granulation tissue during the dressing change.
TEBAGRAN has a distinctive granulated structure, but they do not attach to the wound bed and will come off with simple washing. Therefore, the granules would not harm the healing granulation tissue.
Wound coverage
TEBAGRAN can cover the entirety of the wound surface thanks to its granulated structure, leaving no part of the wound without cover.
How to use TEBAGRAN dressing
Cover TEBAGRAN with another secondary dressing (simple foam or sterile gauze).
Cover the wound bed with 3 mm of TEBAGRAN granules.
Cleanse the site with an antiseptic solution or wound-cleaning serum (Normal saline solution).
After contacting the discharge and exudate from the wound, TEBAGRAN granules will increase in volume, so do not fill the whole cavity with TEBAGRAN granules.
The time between dressing changes depends on the wound discharge and exudate, but the granules can stay on the site for three days.
After removing the secondary bandage, the TEBAGRAN granules can be easily removed from the site using a washing solution.
After contacting the wound discharge, the TEBAGRAN granules turn cream-yellow. This discoloration is normal and does not indicate infection.
If the wound exudate is insignificant before applying
TEBAGRAN on the wound, use Normal saline solution to turn granules into the gelatinous form, then apply the gel on the wound.
