Advanced Wound Healing Gel
The loss of skin integrity caused by injury or disease can result in physiological imbalances in the wound, such as microbial contamination and infection. For this, the Advanced healing healing gel is used as a temporary skin substitute.
With the use of new and advanced technology, treetta has introduced another product, which is used for the treatment of all kinds of wounds, and accelerates the wound-healing process by stimulating collagen production.
Features of TEBASEPT Advanced Wound Healing Gel:
- Collagen formation
- Breaking down the defense barrier of the microorganisms
- Reducing Inflammation
- Reducing Pain
- Reduced Wound Odour
Advanced Wound Healing Gel increases the body's performance in treating all kinds of wounds and accelerates the healing process. The hydrogel structure of the gel helps cover the whole wound and provides a mist and a suitable environment for wound healing
Components of Advanced Wound Healing Gel:
- PHMB: - PHMB is a cationic polymer with a similar structure to antimicrobial peptides with broad-spectrum antimicrobial effects and biocompatibility, furthermore PHMB has much faster efficacy on common wound organisms such as Staphylococcus, Aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. PHMB binds to the negative charge of these microorganisms, reduces the membrane's fluidity, and destroys the microorganisms' DNA.
- HEC: - HEC is a cellulose derivative that is present in Advanced Wound Healing Gel. The wound-healing efficacy of cellulose results from its capability to accelerate the wound-healing process through the maintenance and release of several growth factors at the injury site such as Fibroblast growth factor, phosphodiesterase growth factor, and epidermal growth factor. These factors provide sufficient moisture, and oxygen supply and inhibit the proliferation of bacteria in the wound
- Betaine: - The special structure of Betaine Amphoteric Surfactant helps in Hyperosmotic shock, and destroys the biofilm by reducing the surface tension of the microorganisms.
- Other Biopolymers: - Other biopolymers such as Polysaccharide increases the activity of Macrophages, increase the level of cytokines, and further result in collagen formation on the wound bed. Polysaccharide biopolymers also have acid stability and can improve the activity of the gel by ion exchange, which leads to the formation of a moist environment in the wound bed leading to the closure of the wound.
Indications:
- Diabetic Foot Ulcers
- 1st and 2nd degree burns
- Pressure Ulcers (Bed Sores)
- Vascular Wounds
- Post-surgery Wounds
- Cuts and Abrasions
Instructions to Use:
- Clean the wound with TEBASEPT or Normal Saline Solution
- Apply the Wound Healing Gel with a suitable secondary dressing on the wound bed
- Treatment Recommendations:
- TEBASEPT Advanced Wound Healing Gel can remain on the wound for 24-72 hours.
- In case of any kind of allergy, consult your doctor, to continue using it.
The Advanced wound healing Gel maintains the moisture of the wound environment, accelerates the healing process, reduces pain, and also reduces the chances of scar formation. The cooling effect of the gel prevents itching on the wound surface and reduces the pain in case of burns.
